Parlem de Pintura...
Francesco Trevisani (Capodistria, 9 d'abril de 1656 - Roma, 30 de juliol de 1746) va ser un pintor italià. Es va formar a Venècia amb Antonio Zanchi abans d'establir-se a Roma, on va rebre la protecció del cardenal Pietro Ottoboni, nebot del Papa Alexandre VIII, i mecenes d'artistes de renom. A Roma va rebre la influència de Carlo Maratta pel que fa a pintura al fresc com a l'oli. El seu estil va recorre des del barroc passant pel rococó fins a explorar el classicisme. I si bé la seva obra va ser principalment religiosa, amb exemples de la història de la Passió o diversos frescs en esglésies, també va realitzar retrats, obra mitològica i pintura històrica com el Festí de Marc Antoni i Cleopatra. Va viure la totalitat de la seva carrera artística a Roma, ciutat on va morir el juliol de 1746.

Johann Baptist Wanhal [Jan Křtitel Vaňhal] (Nechanice, 12 de maig de 1739 - Wien, 20 d'agost de 1813) va ser un violinista, professor i compositor bohemi. Es creu que la seva família es va establir a Bohèmia provinent d'Holanda. Es va formar a la seva ciutat natal en cant i instrumentació d'instruments de corda i vent abans de viatjar a la veïna població de Marscherdorf on es va formar en llengua alemanya. Poc després va entrar a estudiar orgue amb Anton Erban abans d'assolir, amb 13 anys, el càrrec d'organista a Opocžna. Pocs anys més tard va assumir el càrrec de director d'un cor a Niemcžowes on va rebre formació en violí de Mathias Nowák. El 1760 va viatjar a Viena on va treballar com a professor de cant i instrumentació sent Ignaz Pleyel un dels seus primers alumnes. A la ciutat austríaca es creu que va rebre formació i protecció de Carl Dittersdorf, en aquell temps membre de l'orquestra del Teatre Imperial, qui per la seva part el va promocionar com a violinista. Ràpidament, es va fer un nom a Viena rebent, el 1762, la visita d'un joveníssim Mozart acompanyat del seu pare Leopold. El 1769 va fer la seva presentació com a compositor publicant les seves Sinfonies quatours Op.1. El seu èxit va motivar el mecenatge del baró I.W. Riesch de Dresden qui li va pagar un viatge formatiu a Itàlia de cara a la seva preparació com a futur Kapellmeister de cort de Riesch a Dresden. A Itàlia va fer amistat amb Gassmann, amb qui després tornaria a Viena, i Gluck. Es creu que a Roma va representar dues òperes (Il trionfo di Clelia i Il Demofonte) que posteriorment es van perdre. El setembre de 1771 va tornar a Viena declinant l'oferta rebuda pel seu protector a Dresden. Allà va explorar les noves oportunitats de negoci de l'edició de les seves pròpies partitures; en total més de 270 impressions. A partir d'aquells anys va abandonar la composició de simfonies i quartets per a centrar-se exclusivament en les peticions expresses que va rebre de la noblesa. També va començar a escriure gran quantitat de música religiosa. Durant la dècada del 1790 va publicar nombrosos concerts així com la ben rebuda cantata Trauergesang bey dem Tode Ioseph des Zweiten (Artaria, 1790). També va ser un període en què va escriure gran quantitat de música per a teclat. Tot i el seu èxit en vida, no es va casar i va morir en soledat a Viena l'agost de 1813.
