Parlem de Pintura...
Martin Drolling (Oberhergheim, 19 de setembre de 1752 - Paris, 16 d'abril de 1817) va ser un pintor francès. Va rebre les primeres lliçons d'un pintor desconegut de Schlettstadt abans de viatjar a París, on va entrar a l'École des Beaux-Arts. Allà va rebre el reconeixement per la seva obra "Interior d'una cuina" pintat el 1815 i exposat al Saló de París de 1817. La seva obra restant va ser principalment de temàtica costumista, de gènere i d'interiors i en general les seves pintures van ser ben rebudes durant la seva vida per la qual cosa moltes d'elles van ser gravades i litografiades. El seu fill Michel Martin Drolling i la seva filla Louise-Adéone Drolling van ser també pintors. Va morir a París l'abril de 1827.

Parlem de Música...
Giovanni Andrea Fioroni (Pavia, 1716 - Milano, 19 de desembre de 1778) va ser un compositor italià. Es creu que va néixer el 1716 i va estudiar amb Leonardo Leo a Nàpols durant més de 15 anys. El 10 de juny de 1747, encara a Pavia, va enviar una sol·licitud per accedir al càrrec de mestre de capella de la Catedral de Milà, on els jutges en aquell temps eren el Pare Martini i G.A. Perti que van examinar la seva composició en stile antico ‘sopra canti fermi ambrosiani’ i que va ser reconeguda amb l'accés al càrrec sol·licitat. El 16 de desembre del 1747 va accedir al lloc de mestre de capella, càrrec que va ocupar la resta de la seva vida. A banda, va ser nomenat mestre de capella a San Marco (1762), a San Alessandro (1775) i a Santa Maria della Visitazione (1775), on va succeir a G.B. Sammartini. A més a més, i sota petició expressa, va compondre nombroses obres per les catedrals de Como, Bérgamo i Vimercate. Va ser nomenat membre de l'Accademia Filarmonica de Bolonya el 24 de novembre de 1765. Còpies de la seva música es van seguir imprimint anys després de la seva mort i obra seva era representada amb regularitat i fins a principis del segle XX a l'església de S Maria presso S Celso de Milà. Va ser també professor amb alumnes com Alessandro Rolla, Quirino Gasparini i Tommaso Marchesi. Va morir a Milà el desembre de 1778.
